Frankie has been adopted! Here’s his story:
Frankie is a sweet little guy (and we mean LITTLE) who has been dealing with some hard times.
This tiny Shih Tzu is five to seven years old, and had only hours to go on Death Row in a high kill shelter when we rescued him.
He’s presently very much underweight and has suffered from malnutrition for months and possibly years, according to one of our vets.
He’s also suffering from some issues with his eyes and his knees – but no worries, we’re going to take care of everything!
The first order of business though is to get Frankie to put on some weight with healthy food and enough of it. We don’t think Frankie has had much of either in the past few months …. or maybe ever.
For now, we are going to let Frankie build up his strength while recuperating in foster care. As soon as he’s good to go, he will be available for adoption.
In the meantime, please fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in Frankie, and we’ll keep it on file.
